The borders have twill and thazhampoo reku(temple) motifs in gold zari, while the pallu features a twill band edged by yaanai(elephant), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), annam, manga(paisley), vanki(chevron), floral, rudraksham and stylised leaf patterns in gold zari.
