The korvai borders in a dual shade of red have diamond, mayil(peacock), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), manga(paisley), rudraksham and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders feature a diamond pattern flanked by yaanai(elephant), mayil, parakkum kuthirai, manga(paisley), floral, geometric, rudraksham and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
