This classic kanjivaram sari in apricot shot with copper is handwoven with mayil(peacock) motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The borders in bronze shot with copper have manga(paisley), floral and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colours as the borders feature a checks enclosing floral band edged by yaanai(elephant), parakkum kuthirai(winged horse), mayil, manga, floral, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
