The korvai borders in black shot with dark brown have diamond, mayil(peacock), yali, floral, rudraksham and geometric patterns in gold zari. The pallu in the same colour as the border features a diamond band flanked by yaanai(elephant), yali, mayil, manga(paisley), twill, floral, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari.
